After walking around Champ-Elysees its a great place to pass thru. You are in the middle between most of the great monuments of Paris. On one side Arc of Triumph and on the other La Concorde, Tuileries and The Louvre. Great place to walk around.

This is really great place to walk. There are monuments and shops and restaurants. If you get tired of walking the metro is not too far away. Walking along the Champs-Elysees is always great

I'd recommend walking this area. A bike could be nice too, but the thing is that you'd have to find a place to put it while you go up the Triumph Arch to appreciate the view.

This area is characterized by its namesake avenue
which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern
business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de
Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive
offices and presidential palaces; architecture from
19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art
galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron
Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This
