There are so many aspects to this station. Transport hub, meeting place, national and international travel and spectacular architectural experience. The International Depature area is comfortable and impressive with great facilities. The rest of the station is undergoing refurbishment so needs visiting later.

Saint Pancreas was a very state of the art high class station on one end of the journey so I sort of expected the Gard Du Nord to be equally as impressive but a very different station indeed. Cold wind was blowing through on both...More

Beautiful station, we traveled here to take the Eurostar from Paris to London. This is one of the main Eurostar stations to travel to many destinations in Europe.

A good question...answer is "not in the train station". Guard Nord is a typical Paris train station, not to be lingered in, arrive on time, move to your train and get out of there. Lots of unsavoury characters including pickpocket families and aggressive beggars. Schedules...More

I'm a regular traveller through this station by eurostar. Eurostar: always understaffed, never are all baggage scanners open, even at peak times. Very poor layout. RER: very high proportion of escalators are broken everytime. Very dirty.

My husband and I took the train to Charles De Gaulle from Gare du Nord on November 14. We left the hotel with cash and five credit cards. We landed in Boston with no credit cards and insufficient money to take a cab. The pickpocket...More

We were afraid to use the RER B train from CDG to Gare du Nord as we had read about it being difficult to navigate . In fact, we found it quite easy and safe. Just allocate enough time to find directions.

This is a place I was very hesitant to arrive at after reading all the reviews. It definitely was not on the same level as St Pancras. Arrival was very crowded and confusing, so I was happy that I prearranged with my hotel to have...More

Yes there is. You don’t need to book and it’s easy to use, a bit like swimming pool lockers. You need change! Standing with your back to the mainline platforms, it is located down an escalator in the far right corner. Look... More
