One of Paris' oldest markets has been redone into a foodie paradise with stalls that will sell you prepared food for your lunch. Very popular, but if you are lucky, you can get a seat on one of the picnic tables for dining. Lots of...More

This is a fun market to visit and enjoy a variety of foods from around the world. We had some excellent Moroccan food here. You can also find fresh vegetables and fruits. It can be very crowded so if you don't like close physical contact...More

We stayed in the Marais near here on our last trip to Paris, and enjoyed wandering through the marketing and exploring the different stalls. The street the market is on also has a ton of cafes to stop and eat at.

Great place to sit and enjoy some wine, food, and good company. Try the Italian restaurant for proper pasta with clams. Then walk around the area for a taste of a non touristic Paris.

This is a cute, well hidden market in Paris, where you can grab a lot of different snacks. The falafels we had there were the best we had in Paris (better that the ones at "L'as du Falafel" (although the staff was very grumpy/unfriendly).

Got here later in the day as we got lost. By the time we got here, some vendors have already closed, except for the Middle eastern, maybe Lebanese restaurant and a couple more stand. It is supposed to be the oldest open market in Paris....More

Marché des Enfants Rouges is worth a visit for two reasons: 1) History - it is the oldest covered market in Paris, dating to 1628; 2) wonderful stands from which to buy food to take back to your apartment, if you are renting in the...More

I was staying right beside this little market so it was very handy to visit. I had read about it prior to our trip and thought it sounded wonderful. It is much smaller than I imagined so maybe I would have been disappointed if I...More

I don't know but I was there on Christmas Day and it was open but only a couple of stalls were active. I would think it will be more likely to have more stalls open on New Years Day than Christmas but I am not sure.
