What a remarkable collection of Chinese and Japanese art works from major Dynasties over the years! Moreover, it was breathtaking to see the very large Buddha, which took up a very large percentage of the first floor! Some have suggested that M. Cernuschi built his...More

Best reason to visit: It's set in a magnificent mansion that is typical of the fancy houses built in Paris late Nineteenth Century. Collection is good enough.

The museum is well laid out. No photos are allowed. Interesting diverse Asian art collection with signage on French - but easy to understand what you are seeing. The staff was also very helpful and pleasant.

This small museum is located on Monceau (à mon avis the superior Parisian park for location and content), so you might as well wander or picnic while you are up there. The museum is small, (and from what I remember) had mostly Chinese art. And...More

Desappointing ! - Facing more stupid than unpolite African staff, not allowing my spinner in the local cloakroom, though obviously not overzised .., hence I did not visit this small museum highlighting a collection of antique Asian artifacts

Really surprised at the caliber and depth of this collection. Many large pieces that are thousands of years old and in perfect condition. Set in a beautiful old home in the best neighborhood. Facility has been modernized to handle public traffic. Two levels with lots...More
