The landmark at the end of the Pont Des Arts, really lovely architecture. I've never had the chance to get inside. Maybe you have to wait for the weekend when private buildings are opened.

As an architecture buff, I became a big fan of this building when I lived for a month in an apartment two blocks away. I passed it every day and especially admired its 144-feet-high dome. Its main facade also appealed with two square pavilions flanking...More

PROS: picturesque building by the Seine and the Pont Des Arts. Gold leaf trims around the dome flanked by a wider base. CONS: none.

This very striking building from the late 17th century sits on the south side of the River Seine at the end of the Pont de Arts (Locks of Love Bridge). Other than taking a few pictures of it while on the bridge, there are much...More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic

Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
