Slow Club

Slow Club, Paris: Address, Phone Number, Slow Club Reviews: 1/5

Despite its name, this club is anything but lethargic: medieval-style vaulted ceilings and a dance-happy crowd make this jazz club one of the most popular in Europe.

Nightmare dive
Nov 2013 • Couples
This was once one of the great places in Paris - unique, somewhere old and young would gather to dance and have fun. Tonight, my partner and I had the worst experience imaginable in this horrible horrible dive. We were told on the door that we would have to buy a bottle to enter. Price for cheapest wine. €250. What a joke. The place is a dump now. A rip-off. They wanted €5 euros per coat and bag. After 5 minutes, we could stand no more exploitation and left. It took 20 minutes at least to retrieve the entry fee of €40 that had been extorted from us. For anyone who remembers the joy of le slow, don't be fooled by the fact the name and logo remain. It is the opposite of all it once stood for now. How very very sad. Those who run it should be ashamed.
