Yes, the locks are gone, (although some are sneaking them on again) but it's a bridge! In Paris! That musicians play their cellos on! You simply must walk across. Mais oui.

I just love this bridge It feels so different than the others and has a quaint people feel about it. And the views of the Seine are always wonderful and ever-changing. Love to walk along the river and criss cross the bridges!

The removal of the love locks made this bridge less romantic and lost its allure to be even considered as an attraction. There are some locks sporadically placed on the lamp posts and places you're not supposed to put locks. The plexiglass railings prevented that....More

Same as other bridges, didn't impress me at all. Paris has many bridges, and I don't think they should be considered as tourist attractions.

Lovely foot bridge. Great views of the river in both directions. Ever-changing art and street artists/performers, but don't be a victim of pick pockets and scam artists that frequent the area. The "locks of love" (people used to attach padlocks with their names in marker...More

Four years ago when I rated this attraction, I considered it "terrible" because of the hundreds of thousands of love locks that had destroyed the look of the bridge. They also interfered with looking at the view because of all the glittering metal. The weight...More

Built under Napoleon I, this pedestrian bridge, linking the Louvre to the Institut Francais, survived bombing from WWI & WWII and a major collision with a barge that collapse a large part of the bridge. It was entirely rebuilt in 1984 with only 6 arches...More

Romantic place. Bridge is full of locks. Place closer to louvre museums and Notre-Dame. Nice view of river over bridge.

We came back from Europe in June 2015. It was around this time they removed all the locks of the bridge as they were getting to heavy.
