This bridge is just under the Eiffel Tower and is across from the Trocadero. Fantastic views of the Tower from this bridge, both day and night. One big issue is that you are constantly accosted by the souvenir sellers, con-men and charity people. This can wear a little thin after a while.

Because of the increased security to protect the precincts of the Eiffel Tower this has pushed a seedy likely criminal element, who prey on the more naive tourists, on to the bridge. You cannot move for swarms of pedlars who lay out their wares all over the footpath, or are continually pestering you. Likewise their are numerous con artists with... More

This was a typical city bridge, the likes I've seen in Rome and London: A grand crossing but now full of 'tat' sellers which prevents you from stopping and relaxing here taking in the Seine, the Eiffel Tower and up to the Trocadero. It's also the coach drop off area for the Eiffel Tower so you had to be on... More

Visited following our visit to the Eiffel Tower as we saw this path at the top and wanted to check out the beautiful fountain across the Seine River. Unbeatable views and photo spot of the Eiffel Tower, but spoiled by the endless street vendors across the entire bridge selling almost exactly the same things. Only the views of the Eiffel... More

This bridge in itself is not particularly appealing or remarkable. It’s quite plain and ordinary, just like many other bridges in Paris. What makes it special, though, is the location of the bridge and the gorgeous view it provides. The Pont d'Iena connects the Eiffel Tower on the left bank with the Trocadero and the Palais de Chaillot on the... More

Napoleon Bonaparte bridge facing the military school and gave him a decree in Warsaw in 1807 the name of the battle of Jena won October 14, 1806, instead of the previously proposed names (Bridge Champ de-Mars or deck of the Military School). His initial construction lasted from 1808 to 1814 under the direction of Cornelius and Lamandé Dillon2. During the... More

Nothing amazing about this bridge except an Eiffel Tower photo location. Plain gray stone, lots of car traffic but has wide pedestrian walkways on the sides.

It's not the bridge itself that is interesting, I mean it's just a bridge, but the photo opportunities you can take from here. On one side there's the Palais de Chaillot and Trocadéro, on the other side there's the Tour Eiffel! Plus, there's all what's around, including the river!

When in Paris we visited the Pont D'lena on a few occasions when wanting to get a good view of the Eiffel tower. The area itself is a tourist hotspot with the Eiffel tower within a stones throw away and it is the location that most of the Seine cruises start so be prepared for busy. There are also a... More

My sweet love proposed to me on this bridge during our recent trip to Paris and it was a perfect moment. The view is gorgeous, there were very few people around (surprisingly) and it really cemented how beautiful the city is.
