We stayed here during this visit and nevertheless the place is lively of course with lots of restaurants and bars and things to do I found this area a bit remote from the more attractive areas: Saint Germain or Marais. Needless to say we made...More

Montparnasse is the area we always try to stay when we visit Paris. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist hot spots and this is exact what we like. We always stay at the Marriott Rive Gauche. The Montparnasse Cemetery is...More

Travelling by high speet d lift (56 floors in 36 seconds) you reach the viewing area. As you walk round you get great panoramic views of Paris and beyond. Less crowded than the Eifel Tower and a lot cheaper. The viewing floor has a snack...More

We decided to go around sunset which was the best decision. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy the views of the city. We stayed on the open deck the whole time which was pretty packed so plan wisely.
