Busy but really nice café. We went here a Thursday late afternoon for coffee and a glass of win. Interesting, so much Paris. Authentic. Well worth a visit.

We stopped by this place almost everyday (some times twice a day). They dessert Mille-feuille was what we loved. The location was in heart of St. Germain area, close to Eiffel Tower. Very cool setting and we enjoyed throughly

We almost skipped this spot but I am quite glad we didn't so we could have the experience. The wait staff was very helpful and were not as rude as described in previous reviews. This was a little bit more expensive then other Patisseries in the area but the inside is quite beautiful. You can get omelets and obviously amazing... More

Noisy, overcrowded, why go to this cliché of a café in a city with 10,000 other choices. What is there to say in its favor? Good location if you happen to find yourself in St-Germain-des-Prés.

Went with Parisian friends and we sat upstairs near the back - less crowded there - a famous politician sat nearby. I think if you go to paris have a coffee or light lunch here. Its perfect and very famous.

We came here just for tea and coffee, both were delicious. It is quite expensive but I guess you pay for the name. Service could be better but overall not a bad experience.

It was evening when we arrived and place was packed with people. Friendly staff helped us to be seated. We were given enough time to decide and our order was taken rapidly. It is a very nice atmosphere. Every one should exprience at least once.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
