Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are several important monuments and museums here, so focus your visit on the Arc or the Museum of Modern Art. Otherwise so many of the apartment buildings in this area have been converted to offices that the area often seems empty. Not much street life.

It’s a very safe area . The ministry of defence is there so you’ll see many police officers and armed forces. And that’s a good thing.safety come first. There are not many decent coffee shops but a walking distance you’ll find the champs-élysées Paris where many cafe’s and shops are there .
It’s a quiet place not noisy at all .

The champs Elysees is probably the most recognised attraction of the area, deservedly so, however, the walk from Place de la Concorde to Pont d Alma, is a wonderful walk along the seine taking in the sights along the Promenade Cours de la Reine, then head in to see the rest.

I came here to complete an errand and was reminded of how opulent, yet boring, this area can be. It is rather soulless with little of the cafe excitement of the more popular quarters. You will be here for several monuments, but little else. So many elegant apartment buildings have been converted to offices that you will find few people around at night, except on the Champs, which is always crowded.

Wonderful base for a stay in Paris. Everything was within easy reach and loads of shops and food options available. Very beautiful area.

I have to say that while their work quality is good , The salon manager is very nice , TANYA AND MY MANICURIST ARE SO RUDE. I asked them in french and they don’t understand what i was saying properly ( they are from russian as i heard they speak russian) so what they did , they were laughing and ignored my question in front of me ! , apparently the client who was sitting next to me she is french and she understood what i said to them so she talked to me.

However ,I didn’t say anything when they did that in front of me but this makes me feel so bad with the salon and it was not just my first time that i have experienced rude situation with the manicurist here! but this time is the WORST and i won't ever go back again !

The only reason that i still visit ledix is because of the decoration but the front service that's all! The owner , the manager whom they are french are very nice but i'm sorry that your manicurists are so rude and they are not even french but judging other people speaking french .

Their manner and brain are so cheap and low oeducation.

There are monuments here: The Arc de Triomphe, the Trocadero lookout. Modern Art Museum. And there are some grand hotels. So come here to admire the grandeur, but otherwise it is rather cold and stark. Not much life on the streets, few cafes, except for expensive ones, a lack of charming bistros. Lots of offices installed in old apartment houses.

This was our hood for one week, during our recent stay in Paris, we loved the close proximity to everything, a few highlights of the area, is the Madeleine church, (try to get to an organ recital), Parc monceau, (absolutely stunning) and of corse the area encompassing, the bigs ones, Champs de Elysees and its surrounds.

There are important monuments and squares in this area, notably the Arc de Triomphe, L'Etoile, and the Trocadero. A few grand museums, but otherwise just grand apartment buildings and not a lot of life on the street.

Lots of monuments and tourist attractions here, starting with the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs de L'ysee. Lots of the fancy apartment buildings have been converted to offices so you may not see a lot of people around. Some expensive hotels and stores. Not too many places to eat.
