We did the dinner and show with the Belle Elpoque menu. The food was equisit and edible art, with dinner came a very yummy expensive bottle of champagne. The show lasts two hours long and was entertaining the entire time! **Word of advice get there a little earlier than the ticket says you'll have to wait to be let in... More

Probably everyone had heard of the moulin rouge, so it was time to see it for myself.Great show, with acrobats, dancers, and cabaret. I recommend to book the table with a bottle of champagne otherwise you'll have nothing to drink.Show starts at 9pm till 10.40.If you want to take diner there, that'll start at 7pm. A must see!

We came here for the dinner and show in the first session and had seats right near the stage. The food was served first and for the price was merely average, and I could have got a nicer meal for less outside. Beware if you would like soft drink as they are 8 euro each. The servers were slow and... More

Amazing atmosphere, first class entertainment, a truly excellent experience! Great service and food, with complimentary wine and bubbles The show was a first class variety performance, a great mixture of dancing, comedy, death defying acts and of course the can-can!

So the atmosphere and break entertainment was quite good however I wasn't overly impressed. It didn't live up to the expectations I had from other people. The dancers were alright although I've seen much better. For how much it costs I don't think it's worth the money (especially as a student).

I visited this venue in January 2017 as a Birthday treat from my partner. I was so excited to go to the Moulin Rouge as it has such a wonderful reputation. We attended the 9pm show and had no problems with entrance or queuing. We were then shown to a tiny corner of a table where a couple were still... More

A friend & I went to Paris in July 2013 & loved it, the Moulin Rouge was worth seeing, get there early to get a good seat, we did, sit at the end of the table facing the stage, its the best view, no-one in your road, the show itself is entertaining, bright, colourful & creative, the champagne is also... Yes, many travelers will tell you to go to the famous Moulin Rouge if you're in Paris because it's part of the city and it's tradition started more than a 100 years ago. I was not planning on going however the tickets was given to us by my in-laws so this is not a biased review as I did not... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
