This is a huge department store with all brands you want. the building itself is gorgeous to see as well. They have a roof top café with great view of Paris.

I have always come back to Galeries Lafayette whenever I'm in Paris. It's just one of the prettiest stores I've ever seen in the world. Today it's still one of the prettiest. But it was jampacked with tourists, mostly Asian, throwing lots of Asian money...More

Paris, fashion, shopping, this is a bucket list stop for women. It's located right behind the Opera Garnier, so I recommend combining the two together in one visit. After browsing/shopping make sure to go up to the terrace for some great views of Paris. Happy...More

I can't review the shopping itself as that was never our intention. We went there purely to see the views from the rooftop viewing area. It's a very large area with plenty of room to walk around. Like the rest of Paris but excluding the...More

Galeries Lafayette was on my list to visit while in Paris, but as soon as I entered the store I was so overwhelmed how crowded it was. You're literally bumping into people. Everything is expensive and overpriced, and processing for VAT refund is a nightmare....More

I don't think I have ever felt so "abused" by a shopping outlet ever. It is completely overrun with people everywhere! So many that you can't make your way through, people are rude. It is very unpleasant. Everything is VERY expensive and very overpriced. They...More

Geat shopping experience, many different floors/levels with lots of items/choices. Bought nice souvenirs there and had a good lunch at the 6th-floor restaurant. One MUST go outside at top floor and see the view of the entire city

Nice architecture, beeeeautiful roof inside. The prices are not so good, there are only expensive stores for clothes, shoes, perfum and make up.

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,

modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in

Hi. Is getting to the rooftop bar and/or cafe easy and "obvious" from inside the building? I keep reading about the great view, but can't seem to find good information on how to get there. Any information you could provide on what's available (cocktails bar, full cafe, etc) and how to get there would be greatly appreciated! Merci!

Not sure but it's similar to a mall here with many ( high end) retailers. I imagine they all have different offerings?
