Skip the line tour is a good idea as the lines are long! The museum inside is quite large similar to most city museums.

One day or even a week is not enough to see this magnificent castle turned musuem. It was simply sheer magic looking at the works of art in there. Like stepping into an entirely different world away from reality or like entering a dream. I...More

Overall a nice visit and lots to see. But some of the major issues very hot inside some areas are cool, like the old underground area which is one of the first areas to see. But overall usually busy as everyone already knows and ridiculous...More

We spent half of one day just walking the grounds and surrounding area. Gorgeous! Too much to see in a day or two. Best advise; lots of research and reading before hand. Have a plan otherwise you'll never see all you want.

Sorely disappointed. Not by the museum collection but the endless parade of narcissists parading around in a joyless slog to get a selfie of themselves with anything artistic. The sooner galleries like The Louvre have dedicated selfie days the rest of us can avoid, the...More

Great and huge museum, I think you have to plane more than one day to visit this historical museum. I learn a lot from this visit.

Every time I go, I find more stuff I love Great to see art and people watch. The app for the phone was AWESOME. I highly recommend downloading it for your trip. You can purchase tickets on the app and go through the louvre.

This is one of the busiest museums I have ever been too. Make sure to get there early. We bought the "Paris museum pass" and the pass allows you to visit like over 20 museums in Paris for a one-time fee. This place is so...More

What great art and sculptures! We spent the morning and early afternoon touring the Louvre. The artwork was amazing as you can create history right before you eyes! As Americans our country is so young compared to the worlds history. The artwork of Christ from...More

Everyone must make the pilgrimage to see the Louvre, but be aware that you cannot see it all in one day, or even 3 days, and that viewing the Mona Lisa will leave you feeling less than happy. It's not due to the fact that...More

Louvre / Palais-Royal
From the majestic Louvre to the regal Palais-Royal,
this neighbourhood oozes luxury. The grand arches
along Rue de Rivoli are shadowed by mosaics in front
of decorated vitrines and hotels. Place Vendôme is
lined with the world’s best jewelers and their
glittering window displays. Every other establishment
has someone to open the door for you or park your car.
You can spend hours gazing at its haute couture shops

No idea. I bet if you go to the ticket office then they will exchange it. Don't see why they wouldn't.
