Kind of a cold rainy day and took the tube to the Louvre station. There was a passageway direct into the Louvre. I did not have advance tickets but the lines were short and it only wasted 20 minutes. Coat check is free all you...More

What a beautiful city! What a beautiful museum! MAGIC! Beautiful outside, inside. Grandiose ! Gone dusty museums, welcome to space where master pieces are enhanced and beautified by the bareness surrounding them.

Vast museum/gallery, with much more to see than is possible in a day. Needs to be planned, in advance. All exhibits are well presented, maybe it's very busy. You can walk many miles within the complex.

The museum was amazing, the art was magnificent. We did not have enough time to see it all. Need to go back again. Everyone is interested in the Mona Lisa room. Tremendous crowds.

Getting the skip the line ticket is worth the extra expense. We entered on the Little’s used side gate at 2 PM and there was nobody in line. Now that is easy access. Art, art, art a fabulous collection and very easy to see even...More

Yes the Louvre is incomparable in its collections. I have been here before in other seasons and it is jam packed, fifteen deep to see the Mona Lisa, etc. But on a Wednesday night in January, with a late afternoon entry, hoping to spend hours...More

Such a huge place to visit. It can get a bit tiring trying to see everything. Perhaps it would be better to decide what you want to see and prioritise your list!
