We loved Harry's Bar! It took us awhile to find since we weren't staying in the area but it was well worth it. The jazz section was amazing and so special. The musicianship displayed was admirable and the staff was very engaged. The menu was...More

Went here because of the hype but it was nothing special. I had read that some famous authors had drank here so I was hoping it would have some character. It felt sort of hokey and less like an old staple. It was not like...More

Had drinks here for my birthday. Wonderful place, the bar is full of character and you almost feel like you are stepping back in time! Great ambience. Cocktails are priced fairly considering you are in central Paris

This is a wonderful oasis in Paris! It is an American bar close to the Opera. It is the oldest cocktail bar in Europe which gives you an idea how great it is. I have been here many times and it is the best.

Think that's all I need to say really. Great bar and atmosphere but costly for two drinks. Friendly staff.

A charming bar with great ambience and lots of history. Expensive? You bet, but worth it for at least one. Live a little!

Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle
époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades,
and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here,
modern day workers continue to take advantage of the
legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th
century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and
cinemas sit side by side with French bistros
predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
