Well you really can't be in Paris and not go up the Eiffel Tower, but be prepared for the long lines to get in. But it's definitely worth the wait. The view from the top is amazing - it's like you can see the whole...More

Considering that this tower was supposed to be demolished after the World Fair - it is an absolute Icon - If not just for the views - you must visit this structural phenomenon! The details of the metal work and the architectural decisions that went...More

Truly Amazing to see, climb and look at the views across Paris! We chose fast track tickets so only had to q for 30 minutes at the various security checks. Defo worth taking the stairs to appreciate the structure!

The security around the tower is being upgraded at the moment, and security is tight. That's always a good thing. We never had the chance to go up the tower mainly because the queue to get to the top is always long.

We have seen this Eiffel tower in television and pictures, but visiting in person was really something else. Especially in the night, with the lights on, it really was awesome. The view from top was too good. It was chilly, but our kids enjoyed. A...More

I recommend to visit the Eiffel Tower in the morning when it is not so hot and the lines are much shorter. It can take a while but it is worth the wait. The kids were a little restless initially but were absolutely amazed when...More

This was our firs visit and we enjoyed the view. For my point of view, the best option is to climb the stairs to level two, than to take the elevator. The Tour Eiffel is the visit card of the city.

Long lines in the rain for security and lift tickets, but all worth it once you reach the top. Great view of the city.

I went to this place for the first time and even though I have heard it, I didn’t believe it: there are strict security measures to get you in, with extremely rude staff who don’t appreciate that the biggest tourist attraction in Paris may be...More

Agree with the other suggestions given. Do not bring a large bag they go through your bag by hand. The earlier you arrive the better in July. Enjoy and make the best of your time together in Paris!

The queue for pre-purchase tickets to go up the tower was certainly shorter, so should save you time. However, you’ll still have to queue up with everyone else to get through the initial security check.
