    A place to remember
It was a wonderful experience both for kids and parents. The tower is a masterpiece, a place to indulge and to remember. Although it was a very crowded day we headed to the top. A visit to the tower is a must when ypu visit Paris!

Challenging for the Handicapped but worth visiting.
I am a handicapped person and use a mobility scooter, therefore I write from the perspective of one with mobility issues. The Eiffel Tower is not handicapped friendly. Their literature says that they are accessible, but the reality is that they are extremely challenging for the handicapped. Talk to one of the people that work there and they may help you bypass the long lines waiting for tickets. Expect to be asked for document verification that you are actually handicapped. Handicapped get a reduced rate but their attendant does not. The elevators are intentionally jammed packed with people to accommodate the throngs of people. I even heard one of the operators tell the people to pretend they are sardines and press together as much as possible, not leaving room for a mobility device. If you are able to get on at all, you will probably get a lot of dirty looks and an elbow or two to the face. The first and second levels are packed, and it is very difficult to move around. We were there in the low season, and it was still packed. The wind gusts can also be an issue for the physically unstable and small children. On the positive side, the views are wonderful. Lots of great photo opportunities. For architecture and design buffs, it is a must see.

    Amazing Views
Amazing views of the city, well worth the visit. You can go in under the tower for free, just queue up and go through security check. If you then want to go up you can purchase your tickets. We queued to go up via the lift and it took us an hour to get a ticket and then get the lift. If you get a sommet ticket, when you get off on the second floor check the queue for the sommet first and if empty do that first. We were lucky to walk straight through and up but once we came down the queue was huge.

    View from the Top
Overall a very great experience, we went to the summit and had champagne. Beautiful views, but pretty crowded. Definitely recommend getting tickets in advanced as the queue for just showing up and buying tickets was 1.5hrs long.

    Iconic and Worth It
So, yeah, the Eiffel Tower is a tourist attraction (trap). But it is really cool. We chose not to go up and just wandered around it taking photos. It is busy there and there are a lot of street vendors, so be prepared for that. We went back again at night and it is quite lovely all lit up. There is a small market just off to one side with some fairly nice artisan fares as well as food trucks. Behind the tower is a big park which is very lovely and a great place to relax for a bit on a nice day. If you’re not staying somewhere close enough to see it, catch the #6 green line (subway). The train comes up out of the tunnel and over the bridge at just the right spot for you to catch sight of the tower, and it is quite dramatic as you are rising above street level at just the right spot. I feel like this is one of the things you just have to see while in Paris, so just do it.

    Spectacular Views
Eiffel Tower €28.30 to the Summit. Lines were not to bad on the evening we went. Views from the top are spectacular. Windows in both lifts going up and down to really enjoy the experience. Even though I am scared of heights this was a must on my to do list I did feel safe. Probably on the expensive side but the tourist thing to do.

    Iconic and what a view!!!
Endless line ups, oops, I mean queues. So many people, but the tower is so classic and what a view from the top deck. Worth it and had a great time but wished we went at a less busy time.

    Eiffel Tower visit
Let’s get this out of the way, it’s Paris so the are lines buy your tickets before you go it will save you some time. It’s impossible to realize how massive it is and it’s height from photos. A visit brings to life it’s place in the history of Paris, France and The World. Do go to the top.

Book early, the minute tickets become available.
We had a great family time, and that is the only reason for the positive review! The ticketing is absurdly complicated, and the lines and queuing areas are in need of improvement. It could just be that the sheer volume of people making it impossible to improve though. But once we got to the 2nd floor, it was nice. We could not get tickets to the top, and could not get a time earlier than 10:30 PM, despite going on the website the day tickets became available. Outside of that, this is the most "touristy" thing you will see in Paris. Complete with vendors and people trying to sell cheep trinkets. Great family experience though!

    Highlight of Paris Trip
This is a must-do in Paris. All your friends will ask about it. The view from the summit is spectacular, especially at night. I would bring a jacket as it can get cold up there with the wind. You can walk up to the second level. I would not recommend walking up unless you are an Olympic athlete. Walking down is enjoyable and an adventure that gives you a good look at the interior architecture of the tour. At the bottom of the tower, there are all kinds of professional photographers who will help you get the signature shot for your social media account (Balloons are included).

Paris is a beautiful city. It has such lively areas that connect you with the culture there. The Eiffel tower is a landmark completely worth seeing. It is something that many people have always grown up seeing in the movies and it is so cool to see in person. If you go at night, it will brighten up the view of the city. After dusk, the first five minutes of each hour it will sparkle and be a moment you will never forget. Visiting Paris and the Eiffel Tower is a must do while you're in Europe.

Couple of Engineers During the Inception of This Tower Termed it to be ugly for the city and was initially constructed for some Fair. Multiple suits had been filed for dismantle of the structure and the these are still pending in the court of law. Thats the summary of this beautiful architecture.

I don't know why those engineers termed this structure to be ugly when its not and today its the major area of attraction for France and a huge source of revenue for the country. I must recommend everyone to visit this place atleast once in their life time and see the beauty of the city.. a city of dream, a city of love!!! Love is in every particles of the Air of City Paris.

I had been at Paris for a 4 day trip but now in love with this country, its greenery, its cleanliness, its friendly atmosphere and you get everything here you deserve for!

Unfortunately we weren't lucky to reach third base (was closed for maintenance) but yes we enjoyed every bit of it being at the second base and have clicked images of so so so many nearby beautiful structures and museums and monuments, streets and what not (breath-taking views)! Once can even enjoy munching being on top of the Tower because they have a Cafe on second and third base and a Restaurant at its First Base. You can climb to the tower or can secure tickets to climb through their Lifts.

If you wish to see beautiful twinkling lightnings across the tower, visiting this place during the evening is best because during this time, they switch on these lights every half an hour for 4-5 minutes.

An Evening in Paris!!! An Evening in Paris!!! An Evening in Paris!!! An Evening in Paris!!! An Evening in Paris!!! An Evening in Paris!!! An Evening in Paris!!! An Evening in Paris!!!

Dreadful. I had tickets to visit the monument with my 4y old son. On site, I was denied access by extra rude security staff because of my son’s 3 wheel scooter (even when I offered to fold it and put in a bag). There is no reference to kids scooters in the list of unauthorised items, which I tried to argue in vain. At the same time, one of the security members told me the ice cream lady next door can keep it for 10€. I had no choice I didn’t want to loose our expensive tickets, I paid and left the scooter to the ice cream lady (which seems to be a well organised racket) and came back to the queue with my 4y old, totally distressed. I tried to ask some sort of proof which they obviously didn’t have, they kept saying “we have instructions”. At some point, one of them pointed to the picture of rollers saying here it is, wheels it’s the same thing .. when I tried to explain it’s not quite the same thing, the situation went out of control. The main security guard started threatening me “you stop busting my b..” (in French), I was so shocked I took my phone out to record the scene but only managed a picture before his female colleague snatched it from my hands and deleted the picture and threatened to deny me and my son access (all this in front of the long queue of people and my 4y old in tears). The man continued shouting at me in an extremely agressive manner. Once inside the site, I asked to see a manager who was very professional and helpful. He confirmed there is no restrictions for kids scooters and offered to leave it next to the pushchairs. The security team outside are contractors and independent of the main site staff. Shocking, disgusting, pityfull… ruined my day and my experience of Paris…

Queued amongst the hustler street sellers for over an hour to get through security to enter the compound.

Once inside, queued for an hour and half to get tickets, only to find they’d sold out of summit tickets just before we reached the booth.

There were two staff selling physical tickets from a window, and like 1000 people in line waiting. Why oh why can’t they sell tickets via a website with a staggered entry time and a QR code?

Then queued again for a second security scan, then again to get in the lift. What a joke. Iconic location, terribly run.

Overrated! There are better ways to get high! The Eiffel Tower is crowded and not well-operated. She is pretty to look at but do not try to mount her.

I’ve been to the Eiffel Tower 4 times now, but only have gone to the top once, and that was by luck over 20 years ago. I initially tried to buy tickets from the website 3 months before our trip and only the 2nd level was available. Thankfully my teenage son was not disappointed about not going to the top. We went in the evening. The wait wasn’t too long with pre purchased tickets. Beware on the exit out into the surrounding grounds. The souvenir street sellers are very aggressive.

Paris, please do something about the hundreds of street sellers (men) surrounding the tower. We were harassed from the moment we left the underground station to the moment we left. On leaving the tower, we literally had to push through a group of about 20 men trying to sell light up souvenirs. I know these people have to make a living, but as a mum and daughter visiting alone at night, I was intimidated and frightened. My teen daughter was degraded and sexually harassed and I was appalled at this behaviour in one of Europes capital cities. Such a beautiful landmark totally spoilt.
