The Eiffel Tower is such a beautiful landmark and during summer is more amazing. I went there at about 10:00 pm and at 10:00 on the dot they turned the lights on and it was so impressive!!

Wow!! To be up close is amazing. The tower really is quite beautiful and one is absolutely in awe of the size. A must see for the first time in Paris!!!

The best of Paris, we stayed right by it at the Mercure hotel and were able to enjoy several visits as well as the illumination.

Of course you see it all over Paris, but going to the top of the tower is a treat. Yes there are lines, so buy your tickets before you get there. Then there are lines to take the elevators up, but even more so to...More

Almost missed going to the top but we went in the evening when the line was short. The city is beautiful and seeing it up top makes you feel like your part of it. Plus, youre already in Paris so GO. Don't book this through...More

Absolutely beautiful with lights during night. We visited during daytime and caught the light show at night. Both times have their advantages, but I vote for the shinning glimmering Eiffel Tower to be the best. The sight is just breathtaking.

Your trip to Paris wouldn't be complete without visiting the Eiffel tower! The lines are long, so I would reccomend advance tickets.

Every tourist in Paris wants to visit Eiffel tower. There are long queues and entrance fee is high for the lift. It is little cheaper for visitors when they partly use steps. You can look at the construction even without climbing to the top terrace....More

I believe it's the same ticket to take elevator or stairs to top.

how much is it to for a ticket to go to the top? if you prebook your tickets do you collect them there and does that get you straight to the front of the queue? thankyou

Hey Nat, my wife and I just rocked up on the day and the queue wasn't very large at all so we purchased them at the gate for 17€ ea. They pack the lifts up with not room for movement, but how else would they get everyone up... More
