I was so happy to have been connected to Paris Walks through a friend who is a cultural tour group leader in countries around the world. We chose to do the walking tour of the Marais district, and I have to say, having lived in...More

My wife and I were really looking forward to a tour of the two islands (Ile Saint Louis and Ile de la Cite). It was a hot day, so that did not help. Nonetheless, we had planned our day around this tour. The tour guide...More

We showed up to take the Marias neighborhood district walk and were not disappointed. Our guide (who went to school at UCLA) was incredible and a wealth of information. The tour was well balanced with walking and stopping to talk about certain sites on the...More

This 2-hour, small group PW tour is very well designed. For one thing, the late afternoon timing makes for shorter lines and lighter crowds. Because the Louvre is such a massive and labyrinthine place, this walk could be an excellent introduction for first time visitors;...More

We had a wonderful tour on May 19! Taking this tour we learned and saw so much more than if we just wondered around Montmartre in our own. Our guide was an absolute delight. We will definitely be looking into their other tour offerings the...More

We took the tour of Paris and World War I and the Dreyfus affair. Though I know Paris fairly well, we visited unusual places I had never seen. We learned a lot and had a great time! The tour was relatively small -- under 10...More

We've done a number of them and enjoyed them all. It's really about your expectations of Paris. History, food? Montmartre and Pere Lachaise might be topographically challenging. They were for me and I'm a tad younger than you.
