Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was with some mixed feelings that I booked the walking tour of Montmartre.
However I can really recommend this tour with the exceptional guide, Tank, who seamlessly walked us around the area, stopping to show us hidden gems and giving us a really enthusiastic, informative and entertaining talk.
His ability to keep our ( rather large) group together and focused for 2 hours showed his skills of articulation.
Tank’s passion helped us to appreciate French history, art and culture.
Well worth the donation we gave.

We had Ruben, the vampire ; ) to show us round the Monmartre area. He was very entertaining and full of information and some funny anecdotes as well. Was an hour longer than described so maworth checking before if you have other things after. Good fun!

I had a great time with tour guide Davvi. He is originally from South Africa but he is great at showing the hot spots in Paris.

The lady who took us around Monmatre did a very professional job. It was a large group and a very hot day but she never flagged.

Apologies I can’t remember the guides name ( Englishman from Birmingham ) but his knowledge and ability to deliver it in an engaging manner, coupled with current events and a few songs was brilliant.

We were a group of American tourists in Paris. My friends had visited many times but it was the first trip for my husband and me. We had a Tour Guide named "Danny". He is from Ireland with higher education in art and/or architecture. He was informative and knowledgeable. He was also amusing. He made us laugh. We did a lot of walking. We saw historic sites. We were lucky that the weather cooperated. It was a good adventure. I recommend it for old and new visitors.

I went on the tour after reading one of the leaflets at my hotel. The tour was really informative and interesting, ranging widely from famous Parisian landmarks such as the Moulin Rouge and famous Parisians, to lesser known attractions such as Paris's only remaining vineyard! Highly recommended, particularly to first-time visitors

Our tour guide was named Elinor.
we did not find her very informative. She was sweet and personable. There were things listed on the tour that she never got to. Disappointing

All those free tours are fake. First they are not led by professional ones (a professsional guide has got a card and you can ask to have it shown up). Therefore you can get a lot of misinformation and you wil not be able to get into some places where only real guides can take you. Of course IT IS NOT FREE as mentioned. Those "guides" have to pay the site through which you found them. And what about those people who have been living in Paris for 2/3 years pretending they know the city well...What a joke!

You'd better ask a real guide who is not going to lead a chock-a-block group and whose visit doesn't cost 12 euros per person!

Hi, We honestly do not know where the 12 euros per person comes from since our tours are free and tip-based. You are welcome to tip anything but not obliged to do so. Our Tour Guides do not have to pay our company for their customers. So this review is inaccurate. Thank you

Sad to say our tour was chock-a-block with misinformation and/or falsehoods. On topics ranging from architecture to baguettes to etymology. It almost seemed like a practical joke. Also not sure about the point of playing up a FREE tour then having the guide mention paying her throughout the tour.

Hi, Our tours are tip-based but you are welcome to tip whatever you want, either nothing or 20 euros. Our guides do not ask for money during the tour. We don't misinform nor provide falsehoods so I can't really also accept that and you should be grateful of having a guide that can give you a wide arrange of topics instead of only one. I don't see that as a negative, but as a plus. We presume you put a review on the wrong company since that's not the way we roll. Thank you
