Loading is a bit chaotic, and there is no clear nor fair loading or unloading policy. being first does not mean being first on the boat nor being the first off after arrival.

Even worse experience is when we had to change our departure time and harbour with our flexible ticket. We couldnt change to the different timeslot/Harbour, so were told to cancel this ticket for full refund and book the new ticket.
Now 3 months later and mayn mails and calls we are still waiting for this refund. Appreciate people are busy, but this is really bad customer treatment!

Excellent value for Menorca to Majorca trip

Much better prices than the competition, quick and simple ticket buying and check-in process. The ship (MEGA EXPRESS 2) was a bit tired but it's OK for a short ride.

Corsica Ferries first cancelled my trip, I rebooked and due to shorter ferry ride in the day cancelled the cabin. So I had to drive 200km further, that ferry left 2h late.
Til today (4 months later) haven‘t received my money back for the cabin. They send a fake email half of the amount was transferred, weird enough even that never arrived! Absolut scammers.

No bed for babies, poor temperature setting, no extra blanket even if freezing inside.

Travelling from Toulon to Ajaccio, 4 adults and 1 2yo baby in a cabin.
First, they simply do not have any bed for babies. We asked on both journeys, and we were quite early in the boat. I do not understand why they dont supply us with beds for babies. Come on...
Second, on the way to Ajaccio, the tempersture was very warm. I was just in underwear and quite warm, but I made it. Note that there is no way to set up the room temperature (we asked a crewmember).
On the return, it was the contrary. It was very cold.
We had to use 1 or 2 blankets for the baby (no other option really), therefore we asked for 1 or 2 extra blanket. They told us they dont have any... in an boat with so many people, i can not believe they dont have any extra blanket... they gave us 1 sheet instead !
We have been freezing all night, wearing pullover and socks, and couldnt sleep at all. Needless to say we are travelling all day today and are exhausted.
Next time i will take the cheapest fare and sleep with my camping gear.
As a side note, to access the car we have been standing 10min in the stairs waiting for other people while the hotess kept repeating on the microphone we had to go to the garage. I cant stand the queue, but reapeting the message over and over again while we are already waiting is another joke.

We've booked a trip to Bastia and back. Our trip to Bastia got cancelled with the reason "As a result of an event which was beyond our control we can't carry out this crossing." I wrote 2 emails there asking why it was cancelled without any reply since 2 months. 2 weeks later our trip back to Livorno also got cancelled without proper reason, so we had to change both trips to 08:00 o'clock instead of 14:00 o'clock.
This caused a lot of troubles with booking and reservation changes at hotels and rental car, which we didn't get a compensation for by Corsica ferries.

The Wifi on the ships is very very very slow and unrelieable, so only book this if you really need it... On the way back to Livorno our mobiles phone automatically connected to a satellite-water mobile network provider called Vodafone Maritime, which would have cost us 10381€ / GB. I was a bit shocked when I got the info sms and immediately put my phone into airplane mode.

In Livorno, the way to the ferry for passengers without car is very tricky and long. The location information on the corsica ferries website is not
correct. Better ask at the information center for the way. The ship already departed at 07:52 instead of 08:00.

Terrible experience with crossing Bastia - Savona in July 2021. Departure was planned at 11.30, took place at 17.00. Spent two hours waiting for the boat in Bastia harbour parking lot (in the sun it goes without saying). We arrived at 00.30, lost our hotel reservations. Had to drive to France to find a hotel (arrived at 3 in the morning). Since then, sent three claims to corsica ferries (their is an EU policy for compensation for delays), have not received any answer 1.5 month after the first message. Worst customer service (no telephone number available). i would certainly NOT recommend that crossing with that company.

Not so flexible FLEX ticket - Beware I you end up having to cancel !!!!

I had to cancel my ferry crossing with Corsica Ferries. I paid for their FLEX ticket which offers free rebooking OR refund (@90%). I cancelled a good 12 weeks before my departure.
I cancelled on-line and received confirmation of the cancellation and confirmation of my refund amount.
12 weeks on I'm still awaiting my refund.
I have sent numerous requests for an update on what is happening and received a somewhat lame response that the delay in repayment is due to COVID.
By comparison I had to make a similar cancellation with Balearia (which was part of the same holiday). The cancellation an refund was processed within 5 working days.
Wake up and smell the coffee Corsica Ferries - this is not good advertising !!!
I remain hopeful that my refund will be processed. If so I will update this posting.

Departure harbor horror

We had ticket Livorno-Bastia at 17.30.
We arrived to Livorno 1.30h before departure since it was written that last check in was 16.30..
At the entrance of port in Livorno the ferry staff noticed us nonchalantly that this ferry will be departing from Piombino and that we need to go there. To our surprise Piombino port 1.15h away from Livorno,. So we were driving like crazy, swearing on Corsica ferries and probably earning speeding ticket.
We managed to come to Piombino at 17:09 and we were able to go in regardless of "last check in time"
The ferry departured 1h and 30 minutes late.

Run away from these amateurs

Worst experience ever for a crossing to Corsica: booked a Savona/Bastia trip, by night, ferry was 7h late, and arrived at the wrong destination.
No valid explanation (besides coronavirus), no answer from customer support, no vaccinations/test control upon boarding or unboarding.
Crew was nice, officers weren't convinced that they had to answer any questions.

No telephone connection. There is one number in website, and automatic reply only speaks French. I sent an email but no reply within reasonable time.
