Called the Circuit de Reims-Gueux, this old road racing circuit is situated just outside the pretty village of Gueux, to the west of Reims on the Route Touristique de Champagne. The circuit saw it's heyday in the 50's and 60's with both 12 hour endurance races and 14 Formula 1 Grand Prix's. Indeed it's debut in Formula 1 was during the inaugural World Championship year in 1950. In 1954, Jaguar gained a 1,2,3 in the 12 hour race with a maiden victory for the D Type.

Reims used to have GP's and this is what's left of the pits and start/finish straight. So if you are into motor racing history then this is a place to visit. There are often motorcycles and sports cars hanging around to take pictures etc so...More

Loved this place, abandoned stand and pits from a former era. This is just at the side of a road so you can drive and park up and have a wander around. I loved it. In the UK this would have been knocked down years...More

There's not much left from this track where Grand Prix took place a long time ago. Interesting but only for die hard race fans.

Only a few miles from an expanding Thillois it's worth a diversion if you have half an hour or so to spare. What's there is the crumbling pit complex of the 1950's Grand Prix circuit just abandoned and rusting in peace on both sides of...More

What a great hidden gem. We visited on a sunny Sunday morning. You can feel the heritage in the air. Local Porsche club were meeting there informally whilst we were there. Amazing visit

Whenever I'm in the area I'm drawn to this like the proverbial moth. If you are interested in motorsport this obviously is of historic interest but added to that is the way it just sits there either side of an ordinary french C road without...More

As an avid F1 fan this was not to be missed. While not a lot to see it is definitely worth the stop. We found it difficult to program the gps to find it.
