This place was recommended by our host where we were staying and what an unassuming building from the outside but fascinating inside with mementos and war memorabilia. Not huge but most interesting. Don't miss it.

We visited the museum and were fascinated. There were so many details we were not aware of. The displays were well made and easy to understand. They were in both English and French. It was worth the trip to Reims just by itself, although we...More

This was a fantastic place to visit in an otherwise dead town on a Sunday afternoon. So much easily understood history, starting with a fantastic 15 min film in English. You will be disappointed that you didn't know some of these facts earlier. Great displays...More

Historians will love this. The boss found it much more interesting than she expected too. It tracks a major point in modern world history, one about which I had never given any thought. Seeing the map room in it's original condition is just fantastic, so...More

The room where the unconditional surrender of the Nazis took place for the WWII European theater is well kept as it was. photographs help place the principals to the signing. The museum does take a long lunch break so be careful when you arrive. We...More

While its pretty straightforward to find, we got ourselves lost and asked for directions at the local post office. We had to explain to the staff what it was which suggests it is indeed a hidden gem. For those interested in WWII this is a...More

My husband had to see this Museum. To see the actual room where the Surrender took place was special. Military men/families should visit.

Certainly worth the visit. It only takes 30 minutes to an hour to view, but certainly worth a look if WW2 history is your thing. To see where the German Army signed the surrender is a snapshot from 1945. Parking is on the street, and...More
