This museum is quite small. The paintings are good but not too inspiring. The furniture was underwhelming. The art work was not sensational. And the museum seemed to have no air conditioning. So it was hot inside. So in total it was an average experience.

We just visit half of the museum due to the refurbishment works. It is nice with some also unique pieces. Nice to go in a rainy day

Don’t expect to see riches comparable to the Louvre but, for a local art gallery, this place is well worth a visit. Most of the most interesting pictures are towards the end of the gallery, where there are some lovely landscapes by Corot, and paintings...More

A nice small art gallery, worth a visit on just for the art. But on the ground floor (you go upstairs first) they have a wonderful small collection of art deco furniture, which included items I have never seen the like of before, including a...More

We have visited this museum on the first Sunday of the month which gave us the opportunity for free tour. Unfortunately the museum closes from 12-14 pm so we had very limited time for the whole visit. Although we could see only 3/4 of the...More

Interesting museum of art in Rheims has beautiful collection of paintings of Barbison 's School. The works of Foujita were so impressive!

There are pictures here representing many fine French artists, although not a lot (2 Monets, a Delacroix and Cezanne or two), But over 2 dozen Corot paysages from pretty much the same period--all of them worth close inspection. If you're a Corot or 19th-century landscape...More

A very nice art gallery, full of mostly french paintings, sculptures and furniture, including works by famous artists such as Monet, Matisse, Bonnard, Delacroix and Corot. The collection of Corots is the second largest after that in the Louvre.

While not a large art museum it is inexpensive and contains some wonderful exhibits. I found it relaxing, quiet, and beautiful. Clearly building for the future but great value for money given the exhibits displayed.

I was looking forward to visiting this museum as I heard they had a good collection of deco furniture. Unfortunately it was not the biggest collection (maybe enough for one house). The pictures on the first floor were good but, again, not as many as...More
