Not worth the free visit unless you really like middle ages religous art. In 2019 I suspect it will be transformed into a world class art museum.

The museum was so cool and free! What more can you ask for. I would definitely recommend going if you can. It's very informative and the rooms are beautiful

We visited in Nov 2017, and 2/3 of the space is under renovation. What is there is worth seeing and is free. You can cover it all in under an hour. Great restaurant on the premises.

Stunning exhibition of Roman and moyen-age relics from the burgundy area. I have never seen such an extensive exhibit. The archaelogy exhibits are in the old church and occupy the former crypts.

It's currently undergoing a massif renovation but still has a portion open with a good exhibit of the art of the Middle Ages. You can see the blend of modern approaches with traditional. And the best part are the tombs of the ducs. Free rich...More
