Dalineum, museum completely dedicated to the work of Salvador DALI, is settled to Beaune since November, 2011. His creator, collector fascinated since 25 years by the works of Catalan Master, welcomes you with his team in a mansion of the XVIIIth century - the old place of the Bank of France - to present you more than 150 works: watercolors, drawings, original prints , gouaches, paintings, sculptures, medals and even furniture. You can soak in the talent of Master thanks to orignal works and atmosphere as closely as possible to the surrealism of Dali. Amateurs, enthusiasts and professionals, you can end the visit with the gallery where are exposed original and interpretation works of the artist and to let you tempt by his genius.

Disappointing exhibits. there are lots of small drawings and some sculptures, copies or original, but none that resemble what you expect from Dali.

I did not know this was here, came to Beaune mostly to see the city and the Hotel Dieu. It was raining and I happened to stumble across this small museum. I didn't get my money's worth - I just rushed through because I had...More

Nice to visit this exposition. Placed in the city centre and worth to visit. Do not expect an overview like in Figueres-Spain but it is great to experience what kind of an artist Salvador Dali was. In an hour you will be around and outside...More

We discovered this one by accident. Very interesting collection, although it is a small one. The introduction was interactive and fun. A lot of things explained by the curator. Quite interesting person and with a passion for Dali.

But you knew that before buying the ticket, yeah? The displays are well laid-out and the place is well-lit. The exterior is also worth a few minutes, as a place to sit outside and catch your breathe. The lights there change colour on a revolving...More

This is a small but comprehensive collection. I especially enjoyed seeing Dali's art outside of paintings. There is a lipstick couch, flatware, dishes, jewelry, watches, sculpture, etc. The impression is that Dali was an artist 24/7 and expressed himself in all things. Though small, I...More
