Let me start by saying that the abbey is located in a lovely, picturesque town of Brittany, and walking through its streets alone is worth it. Don't expect to visit an abbey per se - there is an abbey, but it's not what this site is about. Every year they have a new exhibition, this year's being on magics and... More

The herb garden here is lovely - fairly compact, but well-planted, with a variety of unusual herbs, all labelled with names & uses and growing in a colourful profusion. They have also just set out an area of sloping borders & small lake, which will look lovely as it matures. We were horrified that such a beautiful haven of peace... More

We came here on the way elsewhere. There is very little to see of the abbey and apart from the herb garden the garden has a rather unkempt, uncared for feel - a great pity. The place is apparently being used as a backdrop for an exhibition about relationships and weddings. It cost 7 euros to get in and I... More

Costs 7 euros to get in for a small cloister and a tired garden. We called in as passing and were glad we didn't make a special trip. In and out in 10 minutes! One of the most costly sites we visited and certainly the most disappointing.

This abbey is worth a visit, as it presents a beautiful, old garden, well kept with many interesting plants. The medicinal garden is particularly interesting. The church to be visited in connection with the visit to the garden is very interesting and contains a special atmosphere. While we visited we also experienced a very good temporary exhibition on music with... More

This abbey is a real find. We went in July and the weather was fine. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The abbey itself is very pretty. A real feeling of the past. Great for the family. A great day out.
