Walked miles to visit this place only to find it was shut from the day before. If this was scheduled it should have said on the guide information so we were not happy as it is a very long walk

One never gets enough of walks around the parks of Europe. Vast green areas, lakes and tall trees, rare animals. Here, the even have little kiosks that cell ice-cream or chestnuts depending on the season. It's wonderful, but remember to put on a pair of...More

We stopped off here on the way back from Le Vaisseau and were met with a helpful but officious man on the gate who basically told us all the things we couldn't do. (Ride a bicycle, eat anything, touch anything) so spent most of the...More

a lovely man explained the gardens to us, their history and what he knew of our home in Scotland (in his broken but excellent English), worth a visit for a few moments of serenity in a busy day.

The botanical garden is small and although I visited it on many occasions I was always disappointed because there is not a lot to see. Maybe for a sunday stroll but for like a half an hour.

No I'm afraid not. It's not very big and the pathways are not very wide. There are ample spaces for locking your bike up near by though.
