This structure is truly enormous and breathtaking! The carved stones on the outside alone are remarkable, but add to that the beauty of the inside and it is a true tribute to God. Inside confession is available and there is an amazing clock as well. I loved the many tabernacles.

This is a must see place when visiting Strasbourg. Massive cathedral , great art work both inside and outside, impressive look in the evening when the lights are on.

Went there in the month of December where the Christmas spirit was still alive and it was snowing...loads. Went for in for a visit which was free then paid 2 euros to watch the astronomical clock in action which was frankly disappointing. However, the staff were delightful and friendly and was building a snowman whilst we were waiting to be... More

This is one of the most beautiful cathedrals in France. It is in a good shape and worth visiting it. The location is specific, a French style gothic cathedral in Amost German style enviroment.

This cathedral smack in the middle of Strasbourg, FR will captivate you hands down with its impressiveness and beauty. It's classic, probably one of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen outside of the St. Peter's in the Vatican and La Cathedrale Notre-Dame-de Strasbourg is second to the Notre Dame in Paris. Another cool thing I experienced here-- I was... More

Breath taking when looking up at the cathedral at night with a low lying mist at the top. Sitting in the middle of the Christmas Market so that you wouldn't miss it and was a wonderful surprise when you walk into the square!

Staying in Strasbourg for one night enroute to Austrian alps for skiing Had a few hours walking around the city at dusk I can only comment on the cathedral from the outside as by the time we got there on a Friday night it was shut. Nonetheless - wow!! The architecture and carving was spectacular- perhaps all the better for... More

Free to visit the Cathedral and a small charge to climb the tower to the observation desk and see the clock there.
