Started in 1015 as a Romanesque church and finished 400 years later as a Gothic cathedral with a spire that was the tallest in the world into the 19th Century

Free to visit, reasonably short queue given it is the main tourist attraction. Beautiful both inside and out. Only negative is the beggars that approach you when you are in the queue.

A masterpiece of the human history! Totally worth the visit and spend some hours on it! Don't miss it!

We had the chance to visit the terrace on top for free during the International Day, and it is really amazing, specially if it's a sunny day. But I have to remind you that to go up you need to take more than 300 steps.....More

Amazing ancient building. It is a must-to-visit place if you are in Strasbourg. Hundreds of status on the outer walls of the huge building. Situated in the heart of the city. Tons of shops, restaurants and cafes around.

One of the great Cathedrale of Europe. Everything about it is wonderful. Take your time and sit awhile. Take in the history

The circular window above the entrance is impressive. There's also an astronomical clock, and apparently you can climb some steps to see some views but even in September the queues were extremely long, and inside the cathedral was bustling. In the square outside there was...More

Most of what you will see is inside and a small part is outside with cover for rain and wind. I've not been in December, but my son was and said it's the perfect time to go.
