Amazing mechanical artwork
Oct 2020
you can only see this operate once a day. Be sure to be outside the door by 11h30, as it is Covid time, the numbers entering are limited. At noon there is a very interesting half hour long video, which ends as the clock goes into action. This is a must see....to think that 200 years later, the clock, which works mechanically, is still accurate.

Fascinating clock
Dec 2019
The astrological clock inside the Cathedral is something to see. It may not be as good as the one in Prague bit it is still worth a visit.

Must see in Strassbourg
Feb 2020
This watch is simply amazing. 30 years of engineering have gone into it. If you want to see if over the weekend, make sure to go on Saturday at 11:30am as it can´t be visited on Sundays. Be on time and stand where you can see both the screen and the clock so you can get the best out of your visit. You can buy a Strassbourg city pass in the tourism office next to the cathedral. The visit to the clock and the cathedral´s roof (over 300 stairs) is included in the 22 Euros, among many other things.

Amazing antique clock!
Dec 2019
The clock, located in the Cathedral, is amazing to see and, of course, the main feature is the procession of the figures that start to move at noon.

Unique!

One of things you must see in Strasburg. Unique piece of engineering that masters watch movement and astronomy. Buy the tickets first in the church for a visit that allows you to see the 12:30 movement action. It’s the chance to ser the first “computer” built in 1840. Absolutely, amazing.

A bit disappointing
Nov 2019
Every day at 11.30, you’ ll be let in, paying 3 € which is not much. You pay inside, there are two queues, one for those having the tickets and the other for the rest. What do you get in return? Roughly 20 minute film and finally the astronomic clock in operation- quite a short performance. As there is an huge astronomic clock in Prague which is open to public and works every hour, I was a bit disappointed.

Remarkable invention. Hard to describe. 400 years old, an astrological clock that reminds us that life is precious.
