We were riding along in our bus when, what should be directly in front of us, but a replica of the Statue of Liberty. Who knew Bartholdi was from Colmar?? Seemed a bit strange to put it in the middle of a roundabout though.

The roundabout entering Colmar has this replica of the Statue of Liberty and it is a nice reminder of the history of the artist. It is interesting history and you should read a little about it to understand.

You can chance running thru traffic if you wanna get up close, otherwise you're looking at it as trucks are driving by. There are some store immediately right there you can park in their parking for a few minutes with no problems.
