Best Libary I ever visited by far state of the art facilities. Lots of things to do from reading a book to video editing or relaxing playing on the games consoles.Great Business centre for research and lots of digital and print resources.

This place is lovely. Take a wander round the whole circuit, and spend some time in the central space too. Usually there is an exhibition on somewhere (WWI art when we were there), and all free.

Its a quiet place, comfortable chairs, you can connect your laptop or use library ones. There are a few rooms to choose if you need more silence or not and there is a children area and snack bar too.

Definitely worth a visit! This building boasts impressive architecture and a wonderful design. The Reading Room is an astonishing space heavily populated with hundreds of studious mancunian scholars. It was nice to see/hear a piano adjacent to the written music section - nice touch.

A stunning building inside & out; a must visit in Manchester City Centre. Keep the noise down though.

You will learn a lot about the social history of Manchester by browsing the terminals in the main lobby. A must to learn more about Manchester.

Hi, Yes we have the MEN on microfilm. It's on open access and can be viewed anytime, no need to book. It's in Archives+ on the ground floor, behind the cafe.
