I go here when i am in town to use the library and read books and play the games console this is a god place but don't go when its busy because you wont have quiet.

We were following a walking tour of Manchester, and this was one of the buildings on St Peter's Square. The glass entry is, as you can imagine, quite modern, as a contrast from the rest of the building.

its free so that's a good start , the baby 'n' me where mucking about it here for hours waiting for mummy , it's dry and the baby change toilets are massive.

If you want absolute quiet while doing revision, then the reading room which is on the same floor as the music section. Otherwise, all the other floors have tables and chairs where many are taking for revision time.

Yes in the reading room there are plugs at the end of the tables :)
