Nice bar but awful value for money

Food and drink is in good variety and served quickly, but the prices don't compete too well with some other pubs and bars in the area, especially the price of an average pint. That's the only qualm that I have. Other than that, there are some decent quality pool tables, USB sockets or plug sockets pretty much everywhere to charge... More

This is an all right place at the weekend or on a student night. Drink prices are low and they have a good selection of beers. Service is pretty bad, but they get you your drink. Sports shown on various screens around the bar. Three pool tables are a welcome addition to the place.

its a good place for a drink but not to dine. The food comes out too quick, so I expect it's gone ping in a microwave rather than cooked. Ordered a burger with cheese, I had a cheese slice lay on top of a very dry hard burger. House wine was OK, but foodies avoid.

Went in to watch a football match. Some of the bar staff have the worst attitude I've seen. One in particular was rude and aggressive, complaining when a friend of mine ordered a drink that needed making up. I didn't have any food but the menu seemed varied and the food being served looked OK. Just be careful of the... More

This pub has sat on Oxford Road for many years although it has had several name changes. I've visited in the past when I worked at the university and, since returning, I have been 3 times since for lunch. My first visit was with colleagues and the food was nicely cooked although it took some time to be served at... More

I came here with friends to watch the match and have a few beers, asked if they were still serving breakfast and was told by a female staff behind the bar "whatever is on the menu, i just work behind the bar nothing to do with me" her attitude stunk. Eventually we go served breakfast which was cheap and cheerful... More

I ordered the pulled pork fries and they arrived within minutes, understandably this means that the chips are not freshly cooked and have been say frying for how long... The portion was unsatisfying and the amount of chips didn't even cover the bottom of the plate. I got a handful of chips and a sprinkling of pulled pork for almost... More

When we talk about England, we talk about an amazing architecture, wonderful landscapes, friendly people, tasty tea and of course great pubs. Pub is synonymous with friendship, fun, learning, relaxation and enjoyment, and Footage has all of that. A great variety of beers can be tried by everyone. You will find German beers, English pints, Czech brown beers... And different... More
