The show was fantastic, great special effects and camera work. The singing and acting was great.Being a massive Meatloaf fan I new all the songs. However some people didn't so decided to start talking and shouting during the performance. There were no staff in sight to ask them to be quite. The theatre is obviously old and had no signage from the area I... We recently attended the Bat Out of Hell Musical that had strong reviews and whilst the show was good the venue experience was disappointing. There was a strong smell of damp in the main bar, drinks were very expensive as were the snacks and the toilet facilities inadequate for the demands on the evening!

Went to see this on the back that it is the music of Jim Steinman and songs of meatlof. What some people wont realise is the Jim did not write just for Meatloaf, there are songs from "Bad for Good" which he recorded, Loads from Meatloafs back catalogue, Pandora's Box and Celiene Dionn just name a few. The music Jim... More

What an amazing show, the cast sang and danced their hearts out. The music is just amazing anyway but to see it on stage as it was meant to be, a musical, just incredible. So much talent in theatres today, don't get the recognition or the money like some of these so called celebrities , that's my whinge done. Seriously... More

This was a surprise present for mothers day off my daughters. I really cant express how brilliant this show was. Every single cast member was fantastic. The scenes the actors the music and presentation was superb. Will definitely book to see it again. This is one show you can watch over and over again and never get fed up of... More

Wow. Second row seats and a champagne package made this an even nicer treat. Olde worlde theatre with very friendly staff. But the show. Just wow. So much life and energy from the young cast. Absolutely great fun. Setting his own rock opera songs to a story was inevitably going to be a bit camp but it fitted together nicely... More

Went along with my husband and 15 year old daughter to watch this much anticipated musical. WOW...... What an amazing experience. The whole cast were absolutely faultless, with their singing and dancing abilities beyond exceptional. The power and emotion shown by every character was breathtaking, and the added bits of comedy amazing. The scenery changes and special effects just added to... More

Fab show. The seats are fine, yes drinks are expensive, and toilets aren't the best but isn't that the case in most older theatres? If you even like the 2 Bat Out Of Hell albums a little you have to see this. Fab cast, great songs, sets excitingly different and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would love to see it... More

Brilliant show! Loved it! Bar too busy and expectedly pricy. Seats rather uncomfortable but had a great night! Thanks 😊

I went to see the musical "Bat out of Hell". I was a tad apprehensive, as the last time I went to the Opera House - to see a play, I could hardly hear the dialogue. This was much, much better. My ticket was for the Gallery £27.50, but on collecting my ticket from the box office, I was informed... More
