We took the Circular walk up to the tower from Chipping Campden with 2 dogs and it took approx 2 hours each way. It was a little harder up to the tower than back as there were some up hill slopes but the route wasn't too difficult Dogs aren't allowed in the tower but we waked over to the cafe... More

Whilst spending a while in The Cotswolds in our motorhome recently my wife and I decided we would visit Broadway Tower. We have driven past it many times, so at last we decided to visit. We started our day with morning coffee at the tea room/restaurant, before our visit to the tower itself. We found the history of it very... More

A typical gentle Cotswolds country walk through fields dotted with sheep and a really interesting tour of the Tower, built in 1800. The history of the "Follie" was explained in detail from the beginning, as well as documenting The Tower in Wartime 1914-1918 including photos. Additionally, the importance of the tower during the Second World War was explained. Very well... More

The walk from Chipping Camden to Broadway is beautiful. Walk along the Cotswald Way, have lunch, and walk back (or take the bus).

Well worth an hour or two of your day to walk The Cotswold Way from nearby Chipping Campden. Amazing views and a cafe to relax in. Close to Broadway although the walk down is easier than the walk back! The tower itself has the best views and is reasonably priced...especially if you buy a season ticket. The Cold War bunker... Great views of the surrounding countryside. The trails are well marked. Climbing up to Broadway Tower is not too challenging and the views atop the hill are fantastic.

We were lucky to have good weather and this is an easy well-marked walk on the footpath from chipping Camden . we did not go into the tower but you can see a lot from the top of the hill. From the tower we walked another few miles to the town of Broadway where there were plenty of places for... More

This is a great walk. We did it leaving from Abbots Grange near Church Street. The walk to the tower is all uphill (mostly gradual) and is "medium" difficulty walk. England gives walkers a long-established "right-of-way" which means that you will be able to go from pasture to pasture through stiles and gates and not be viewed as trespassers. The... More

Uphill both ways but the views are lovely and well worth the effort. Get a good map or you will get lost as there are several paths in the neighbourhood.

We drove to the Tower from Chipping Campden, had a walk around and then walked down into Broadway. The views from the Tower are great. We didn't actually go into the tower, as unless you are seriously interested in the history I don' think the views from the tower would be any better than the views from ground level at... More
