Covering 26 acres of former industrial land, Black Country Living Museum is uniquely placed to tell the story of the creation of the world’s first industrial landscape. Over fifty authentic shops, houses and workshops have been carefully reconstructed to preserve the character of the region when its manufacturers bought worldwide fame to Black Country Towns. Take a trip on the tram to explore the canal-side village, where you can meet and chat to the costumed characters. Explore the underground mine and experience the authentic sights, sounds, smells and tastes from the past.

Went here for one of the Christmas evenings in December. It was a really good night. My wife booked it for something to do and we travelled down from Manchester and stayed at a Premier in which is just up the road. If you do decide to do the same for 2017 you will have a great time. There are... More

We absolutely love it here. It's fab you can get an Unchained Pass and get annual membership too. We are local so have visited several times and will continue to go back. I love how it shows my children (and us!!) how life used to be, they're 5 & 7 so a good age to be looking round and discovering,... More

The family loved their day here. Super food in the town hall. The cake shop and sweet shop were a favourite.

A great day out for all ages. The canal boat ride was amazing. My only improver would be lack of information in car museum and no staff or guide to find information from.

Been a handful of times now. Most recent the Xmas event. Had a great time with freinds. Lovely fish and chips. Nice to wander round all the old houses and meet and chat to the friendly people.

I havnt been since I was a kid but to be honest I wasn't impressed,I really love history and facts but I think because my daughter is in a wheelchair and it was awkward to get round or couldn't access the old houses and some shops because of her chair it spoils the family day. I think if there was... More

Fabulous day out! The staff are obviously devoted to the ideology behind this site and it shows. It truly is like going back in time evoking lovely memories of childhood. The back to back houses. The old fashioned sweet shop and bakery. And we enjoyed a mulled wine in The Snug at the pub .. sitting by a roaring fire.... More
