Such a joy to give 100% feedback for a outstanding piece of nature suitable for all the family and friends for walks,picnics, photography, or just sit in the sun and relaxing .. cant praise this location enough. You wont be disappointed!

Everyone passes the trough to go to the Lake District ... The Trough is a hidden gem, definitely worth a visit with some amazing Pubs and cafes. The best is the Inn at Whitewell

Don't know of any hotels but may be a pub at Dunsop Bridge that does B&B

Follow the signs from junction 33/34 for Lancaster leisure park and instead of turning into the park head up the hill under the motorway bridge and keep on that road,within ten minutes you are in gods country!
