Friendly staff, some interesting exhibits. Lots of interesting information regarding Lancaster's shipping history including its involvement in the slave trade. Free parking at side of road about 100 yards down road next to river.

A quirky place with an unusual mix of old and new pieces. The staff are very friendly and on some days entry is free

Spent almost 4 hours here. Very interesting museum with loads to see. Everything thoughtfully displayed. Friendly and helpful staff. Although the emphasis is on maritime stuff, there is also a lot about the town in general. The best value £3 ever.
