We were guided around Pickford's house by a gentleman named Paul who was very gracious and entertaining, adding ancedotes about Mr. Pickford and his family and the history of Derby. The furnishings and the gardens are lovely Although admission is free, please support this worthy...More

This is excellent - house has a lovely welcoming atmosphere - informal opportunity to look round the period rooms. The period toilets- there to use - the WW2 air raid shelter, downstairs kitchen are real treats to view. And it’s free - donations welcome. Two...More

Hello there Pickford's House is open Tuesady - Saturday from 10am until 5pm. There is a free car park at the rear of the building which accessed from Agard Street. Also there are free guided tours of the building on a... More
