Mildly interesting historic church in the town centre. We didn't stay long as the ambience was being totally destroyed by a guy using a very noisy hoover.

We attended sung Evensong here. There were about twenty of us in the congregation and around ten in the choir who sang sweetly. Apparently twenty years ago, the church was struggling but it has been turned round. I didn't have time to explore the architecture...More

St Peter's church is a fine victorian building which has been very tastefully modernised to serve the needs of a wde variety of people including breakfasts for the homeless, coffee mornings and activities for children.

Attractive Church of England place of worship built almost 150 years ago bang in the centre of Harrogate, we stepped in to light a candle, enjoy the interior and escape the fierce sun. Not a “don’t miss” but worth a visit nonetheless.

A nineteenth century church in the heart of the town. Very pleasing recent improvements. Great to see the building being used, not only for its prime purpose, a church, but also as a community resource all through the week. Well done!

Evidence of mouseman can be found among the...More

It was only built about 150 years ago. In the Norman style, with square tower added a few years later. Beautiful church, lovely interior with stained glass windows.
