Lovely gardens beautiful place for a lovely visit. There is a nice tearoom, bit expensive but great for treat on a day out possibly not ideal for taking young children. During the warmer months there is seating outside which is lovely on a good day. Definitely worth a visit.

The place was really busy on a winters day with a lovely range of woodland, gardens and glasshouses to visit.

What a beautiful place to visit. Fabulous, easily accessible gardens with plenty to do and see. Half-term activities for the children were simple but effective. A good time was had by all.

Weather forecast was good for the day , so we headed for Harlow Carr . Where else ? Started off breezy so we had Breakfast in Betty's Tea Room Good decision if a little expensive. On venturing out it was breezy but not cold . We set of in a Clockwise direction for a change . Although not too many... More

We visited here and were amazed by the vibrant colours on view during February. My husband was also thrilled to spy a Nuthatch for the first time from the bird hide. We were fascinated by the information about the garden behind barbed wire on display. We enjoyed an extensive walk around the grounds and came away with a souvenir plant... More

The Gardens are fabulous all year around, plus lots of fun for all the family. The great garden centre which has a excellent range of plants etc, a bit expensive but great quality. The Betty's Tea Room is very good, but their small kiosk further into the gardens is outrageous! Top prices hot drinks in cardboard cups, much dearer than... More

If you like walking in beautiful gardens this is the place for you. A great family venue there are workshops for children, nature trails and adventure activities. There are cafes and ice cream shops around the site and the famous Betty's for snacks and meals. Wheelchairs are available for the elderly and there is a garden centre and gift and... More
