Ruislip lido has been here for many many years and is a completely free day out on the man made beach right on your doorstep. You can take your own picnic or eat in the relatively new cafe area beach side, or the carvery pub...More

Having heard some great things about Ruislip Lido I decided to pop in for a visit. The beach, pirate ship and water park playground appeared to be a child's paradise. I visited on a quiet day which allowed me as a single visitor to enjoy...More

Restaurant with a nice view and acceptable food quality. However the service is perhaps oversubscribed.

Our dog lives going round here. It's a lovely easy walk with a path all the way round and the most exciting bit is the doggie beach where we normally spend 1/2 hour at. Also a good little cafe where you can get a coffee.

Peaceful, near-empty woodland areas perfect for biking/walking, excellent fitness trail, narrow gauge railway and huge lake with a beach. You can easily spend a day here but bear in mind if it is a sunny weekend, you will be joined by what appears to the...More

I work on the railway and love doing so, as do my colleagues. It gets very busy at this time of year. Trains are full and sometimes we cannot accommodate everyone who wants to travel, although we always do our best to do so, including...More
