Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the two range lighthouses that form Malpeque group and is easily accessible from the beach. Much of the property in the area is privately owned and signed 'No Trespassing." So, caution as to where you are in relation to the Lighthouse itself is a good idea.

The actual lighthouse itself is in need of some upkeep and repair, but still in pretty decent shape. worth the chance to have a look at if you're in the area.

Jul 2019 • Family
We went for a family drive along the pei coast line. Beautiful. However we researched this place and what the information made it out to sound like was you could drive right down to the lighthouse. We had my elderly mother with us and found out the road the lighthouse is on is private property. So we were told to go down a little farther and if the tide was out you could get to it. But a little farther was a very crowded beach area with cliffs. We never ended up finding this place. :(
