Lovely drive across sally gap the scenery is amazing lots to See including the Guinness estate which includes lough Tay.i would really recommend a drive across it either from laragh/glendalough or roundwood.

Was driving the road during mid December. Difficult road as there where a lot of fog (could not see 30m beyond) but was amazing anyway. Like to drive in these conditions and got nice pics of the path. Some ice on the road as well...More

One of two lovely Gap drives across to west wicklow....this The sally gap leads you past the famous Guniness lake on Luggala estate....note...you cannot drive into estate....walk yes...BUT you cannot see lake even on a walk....have to keep driving up the hill...past enterance gate...and park...More

A long winding road through hills. Probably would be prettier is spring or summer. Most of the scenery was brow,. Very windy at Lough Tay.

You can drive here and reach any place from Dublin to Wicklow, but it worth stopping , breathing the really fresh air, looking at forestry, streams or just people cutting turf from their plot in the hills. Take a picnic, walk from Capure to anywhere...More

Beautiful drive this and there is a nice wooden walkway with a viewing platform. Not much room to park the car if there are lots of tourists.
