Located not to far from the likes of Glendalough, Powerscourt house and waterfall either. Enjoyed the Blessington Greenway walk immensely. Gorgeous views, well maintained pathways and accurate signage. Fabulous little spots to stop and admire or take a little break.

As well as excellent driving around the lakes, there is also excellent walking, grab a map and head to the Blessington Green Way, for a scenic walk along the lake, we prefer the loop around, Burgage castle, sucking in the fresh air, hardly anyone around this time of year.

We stopped off here on the road up to Valleymount/Ballyknocken. There never seems to be too many cars parked up here ( unless You are a local You will need a car the get here ). Ont thing, there are no toilet facilities, or at least none that we could see. But I only wish people would bring their rubbish home with them, and not leave it lying around, as can be seen from the attached photos.…
