- nywlid9 contributionsGreat links and clubFantastic day once again at the wonderful Arklow Links. Course was in great condition and as the wind got up the course showed her teeth. Pa in the pro shop is a great asset to the club and nothing too much trouble. Got our large group of 44 out without any problems. Food after was superb and all the staff deserve a round of applause in the way they looked after us. Perfect day on the links .Thanks all.Visited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 29 April 2024
- Bert OCamberley, United Kingdom585 contributionsBeautiful links courseI thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Arklow. The course was not busy when we visited so we had no pressure on us. Green fees are great value. A nice test of golf but a fair one for higher handicap golfers. Big open fairways on most holes. Nice clubhouse with all of the usual facilities and friendly and helpful staffVisited May 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 31 May 2024
- Sinead K52 contributionsFamily functionLovely spot, amazing view. Was here for a family function, food was lovely. As a wheelchair user it would be great if there was a ramp at double doors out to beer garden. Parked at back of club which was great but navigating stones with my electric wheelchair was a bit of a struggle, could do with paving more of the area as both paths stop short which is a pity . Didn't know there was a ramp at side to the left that brings you into the lounge so came down the path that brought you into the lovely beer garden which has amazing views. Only problem was no ramp into area were function was being held & I wasn't aware of other entrance so I had to reverse up to step & chair was pulled up by the back by someone else. I will go back to eat in the lounge as the food being served looked great & the lounge itself was very nice too. Staff were very nice & friendly but not all knew where the outside ramp was 🤔 definitely worth a visit for the view alone 😊Visited July 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 9 July 2024

The course is fabulous the greens were tricky but in 1st class condition . A lovely place to play golf nice clubhouse and friendly members especially Ronnie Woods and Ian let us through on the first and entertained us in the bar lovely to meet you both.Visited September 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 September 2024

Played here on a wet windy day in August, the course was in good condition, unfortunately the weather did not behave as we would have liked, after 5 holes the heavens opened and being a links course there was little shelter. Some determined local golfers were keen to keep us moving along, sadly, a little to keen for my liking as these conditions do require a little bit of extra time to put on wet weather gear and this seemed to be an issue. I will come back on a dry day, and hopefully have a better experience.

A hidden gem. We were well looked after with rental clubs etc. The course is in great nick. Classic links greens. Fair rough but tricky water and bunkers. Cracking pint of Guinness and scran after.

This is a hidden gem.
A Links course just to my liking.
They are very friendly here and you are always more than welcome to play a round of golf on this beautiful course.
Not too diffucult but enough if you do not hit your ball straight.
Beautiful lay out and in perfect condition. Greens a bit slow but as they should be on a links course.
Bunkers lovely and deep with nice sand and as difficult as waways.
It was 3 years since our last visit and this time around we managed to get 3 rounds here and we enjoyed every minute of it.
It is my favorite golf Course in Ireland and I will be back.

If you rate a golf course on feelgood factor then Arklow ranks with the best. For a seaside course the quality of the sand in the bunkers was disappointing, otherwise it could not be faulted and offered excellent value for money. It enjoys the humps and hollows of traditional links, plus a couple of attractive water features which in no way seem out of place. The clubhouse is also very welcoming, so Arklow should not be missed when combining inland with seaside golf in a trip to wonderful Co Wicklow.

The roast of the day is second to none and one can have a nice meal in the restaurant or watch a game and have a pint at their clubhouse with the nicest view
