Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had to travel back to Pembroke from Rosslare Harbour on Friday last 3rd November, yes there was a storm, yes I was advised by text and email that the ferry would be delayed, but nobody told me about the disastrous state of the terminal nor the fact that you can use the loos but there literally is absolutely nothing else.
YOU CANNOT GET A COFFEE / TEA at the terminal, I had a 7 hour wait at the port due to bad weather and Storm Ciaran, Absolute disgrace the ferry charges are bad enough but I did expect at least a coffee shop. zilch. Rosslare Harbour is a total disgrace, no shops no food trucks, thank God for the petrol station at the entrance to the road to the ferry port. A group of idiots, young males in the 20s/30s destroyed the portacabin toilets and deemed then un usable which meant to get to the only other loos was in the main terminal building a good 10 / 15 mins walk. I had the exact same experience in Pembroke on my way to Ireland on the Wednesday but will write a separate review for that one. My only advise to all having to use the terminal or port is bring a flask of tea or electric kettle for your car, and a bucket!!

Had a ferry booking with Britanny Ferries, to Bilbao. Very strong and gusty winds prevented ship docking, due to leave at 11.30 pm. Told it was delayed so instead of staying in small car, we went to the terminal building. Brittany's text said it was open. Nobody at Brittany desk for updates. No food available. No refreshments, there was a coffee Dock, buy it was closed. Asked security could we get something to eat locally, answer no. We could not drive anywhere as our car was in the middle of the lanes waiting to board.Back into the ferry terminal, no food, no drink and no heat. No staff anywhere. Gents toilets were disgusting, smell of urine overwhelming. Ladies had two stalls unlocked, others locked.
The place was really cold. I am writing this at 2.15 am with at least another 4 to 6 hours before anticipated boarding. Even the seats are too uncomfortable to sleep on. I am Irish and am embarrassed at what tourists will think of their introduction to Ireland. It is too cold to sleep...

We travelled with Stena Fishguard Rosslare on 7th Feb 2020. Boat left late and arrived even later. Gentle swell on the way, nothing more. All luggage had to be given up and stored on board. At Rosslare the gangway has been removed so foot passengers had to be disembarked via coaches to the car deck which took an age. On arrival at the terminal all the luggage was left in the open in the rain, totally unsecured in a public place. As a result the contents were damaged. Rosslare harbour is not a good place and should be avoided. At the very least Stena should be taking action. We will not use this route again.

I'm a regular visitor... but never walked the cliff walk out to Greenore Point.. absolutely beautiful scenery and wildlife on an easy path. On the return journey into the village I followed the walking trail into the Village gardens... this is a real Secret Garden that needs to be revealed!

Rosslare Harbour always a hive of activity Ruth so many ships arriving and departing. Great view pic tv along the cliff walk. Large SuperValu supermarket near by. Takeaways, cafes, ATM, pharmacies. Childrens playground.

Not sure how they manage to make it as ineffective as they do. Arrived last Friday over an hour early for Irish Ferries…long queue as two ferries operating. Irish Ferries queue sat there for ages. It states last check in is 30 mins prior. We sat in the queue past that time. Arrived in Pembroke, off the ferry in minutes and sailed right through. Same for arrival back to Pembroke, sailed right through and onto boat in minutes. Arrived back in Rosslare and sat in the car for nearly 30 minutes waiting to drive off. No one knew what the hold up was. Such a shocking port.

Passed through to get the ferry to Cherbourg. Won't be back. Looks like it was built, and last cleaned, in the 1970s. No facilities apart from an awful coffee shop and filthy toilets. Whoever manages this dump should be ashamed.

Well laid out ferryport with good signage. Booking in was straight forward. Word of advice if you need the toilets better to go before arriving

The Port needs redesigning & management needs to retrain in customer care it’s terrible from Ferry to Ticket Office when the Ferry Passenger bus drives straight past the EUROPORT RAILWAY STN to disembark from bus then passengers Elderly & Families & Disabled got to walk a quarter of a mile in rain or cold or dark or sunshine with cases and wheel chairs and children back to EUROPORT STN to catch a train, We asked several people to run customers back to Stn to catch train AND WE HAD A STRAIGHT =NO🤬 this is DISGUSTING when in our case there was Me & my disabled partener & a family of 4 & 2 adults walking back to Europort Stn on main roads NO PAVEMENTS I reckon HSE SHOULD GET INVOLVED not even a bus stop by Europort Stn get a grip Stena & Rosslare Europort that’s terrible customer care
