My boyfriend and I came over at the Heritage Park last weekend and you all guys went above and beyond our expectations!

Starting with Marguerite during the booking process - she was fab! She helped me a lot and replied to each of my requests, she accommodated and suggested us as best as she could - probably one of the best customer service experience ever, and I am a Customer service manager, so not so easy to satisfy!

We then met John - he is absolutely born to be a tour guide! His way of explaining and interacting with people are class, you can really see that he his enjoying his job and be with people - Thank you John!!!!

While we had a bit of time between a tour and the other we were browsing around the falconry centre, the guy was giving food to one of the birds - he sow that we were so curios and he called us to enter inside it and he gave us an overview of the falconry centre - He was lovely and so kind of you!

Last tour guide we met was Rob, that he walked us into the " Daily Life in Viking" experience - Rob you have a knowledge that is absolutely brilliant! My boyfriend is an history teacher and he absolutely LOVED hearing all those curiosity and history fact that you have shared with us, as much as he loved to dress up as a Viking and be guided while using all the tools of the time that you have showed us - Thank you!

Well done to all of you guys - a big thank you to all of you!

Meeting Jim and all the birds in the Falconry Centre was the absolute highlight of mine and my partners trip away. Could not fault the experience, the staff or any of the sites at all. We will definitely be coming back and bringing our families with us.

Fantastic trip to the heritage centre. Great to experience the village at night, cooking over an open fire under the stars. Falconry is a must do. Every staff member we met were so friendly and helpful. Thank you

Shootout to Joe for being being a legendary tour guide. Back to back tours with reasonably priced tickets, incredibly reconstructed sites, and good vegetarian options.

Greeted warmly at the front desk, info about the park and surrounds given without asking. Staff all lovely, park itself was well maintained and idyllic. Our young family really enjoyed it. Spoke to the gentleman whom looks after the birds of prey, lovely man and insightful. Had games for our boy to complete (find gold nuggets in the stream etc.). He was delighted to receive a badge and certificate for completing the games. Information on sites is great. Couldn't reccomend highly enough.

A visit here should be on the list for anyone even remotely interested in Irish history and heritage. Our guide, Robert, was full of information which he shared willingly. Walking around with him really brought our school history lessons to life. The park is beautifully kept and all the staff are helpful and friendly. We found the information and facts about the Falconry particularly interesting, Robert completely changed my mind about these birds being in captivity.

This is a fascinating place to visit for family or couples, beside the river slaney its a big site approximately 45 acres ,so it will take you between 2 1/2 to 4 hours if you taken the falconry as well.It ia a very interesting historical site which is still being explored by archaeologists, and there is a coffee shop /lunch available. We'll worth visiting for the price
