Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A really great day out, beautiful weather helped but it’s a lovely park to walk around, I imagine even in the rain. Robert gave a brilliant tour on the Age of Invasion area - so knowledgeable and you could tell he had a genuine interest in the history. Thank you Robert! Amazing structures to go into and very informative. A great day!

Really enjoyed a few hours walking around this interesting site . There is work in progress so the cafe area is not operational at present - but it looks like it will be impressive when complete! Do not miss out on the birds of prey exhibition, amazing birds. As there were school tours present, the living history guides were with them, so we opted for audio guides which were very good. We had excellent weather which was brilliant and made exploring the grounds very pleasant. Wear comfortable shoes and take your time going through all the buildings.

We had so much fun at the National Heritage Park. The wooded areas are now fully mature and full of wildlife. The weather was lovely and although the restaurant and visitors' centre were closed for renovations, there was plenty to do. Definitely worth another visit.

Robert was a great guid, very knowledgeable and kept us entertained. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time for the 2 tours so we just did the 12 to 16 guided tour. Next time we will do the 1 to 11 guided tour😁

How much does it cost to get in?

My answer is the same as above . Always consult the website ! I would however add that if you are staying at the Ferricarrig Hotel you will get a discount but you must make that known at the ticket desk .
Can you give me the names of the tour guides please. They were all amazing 10/10. Thanks :-D

How long should we allow for a good visit here with plenty of time for the kids (6, 8 and 12) to play? Is 4 hours sufficient? Thanks in advanced!
