A fabulously long beach with very fine, soft sand. You can take a long walk across Duncannon Beach and back to walk off all the delicious food and Guinness available in the area!

Visited recently and brought back memories of childhood with cars on the beach and daddies listening to the hurling on the radio. A great beach you can walk for ages on. Relatively safe to swim on.

The beach is very nice and clean. Parking can be a bit tricky. The fort beside the beach is well worth a visit. Lots of clean sand with no rocks for kids to play on. There appear some pools with low tide in which they...More

Myself and himself thoroughly enjoyed a lovely long walk along this beach. It was early evening when we visited so not too many people were about, which was fantastic for us. It was a murky, misty day but it didn't dampen our enjoyment too much....More

The water here is not clean, so you shouldn't paddle in any puddles, there are warnings posted around, but few tourists read the signs until it is too late. That said, it is a lovely site and is the home to a fantastic sand sculpture...More
