Being a family of 6 we always bring a picnic as we are never sure of getting in anywhere. Unsure they would allow us eat it on their premises but it was fine. Weather was fab. Flowers gorgeous. V friendly. Made our day

Coffee was great but cakes and sandwiches a little past their best, very quiet gentle space to stop for a rest. Go for the panini as they were yummy.

This garden is a treat in terms of scale and layout. Paths open onto vistas of magnificent specimen trees.
