Christchurch was built by the same architect who built the catholic cathedral in Barronstrand Street. It is a stunning building and inside you should take a look at the renovated pipe organ and the amazing ceiling and chandeliers. Often this is used as a performance venue.

I'm not sure if this is a museum or a place of worship. When entering you're exposed to souvenirs and other paraphanalia. I had a nice discussion with the curator but the interior did nothing for me.

One of my favourite locations for almost 20 years. The site has 1000+ years of history encased in a wonderful Georgian building. Light inside the building is fantastic & the acoustics are brilliant. If you can get there for a concert, do.

Have visited plenty of churches, most of which were Roman Catholic. This was an Anglican church and clearly less ornate. You could clearly see the Protestant Reformation reaction to Catholic ostentatiousness (is that really a word?) at play here.

This is a beautiful church and it's so interesting to compare it to the other cathedral in Waterford (by the same architect). There are very unusual plaques and memorials (some with odd messages!) and an idea is given of what was on the site previously. Definitely worth seeing

Certainly seems to be plenty of them around! Visited them all though, and really like the old world splendour of the whole place, mixed with this new look Waterford has created for itself touristically. Visit, you won't be disappointed.

After tea at Gallway's, we headed toward the factory tour. We passed by the church and popped in. And so glad we did! Rich history, stunning chandeliers (what should one expect in Waterford?) and a kind and insightful gift shop employee made this a "must-stop" place. Strongbow enthusiasts will want to know this is where he married Aoife. Additionally, don't... More

Been there once, a lot to learn from this ancient church dated 1100 years old. You can visit inside daytime without any fees. and get some insights of a magistic place.

The church is located in the town square and has a very interesting history. There are many places to eat or have a pint of beer. You will it enjoy the town.

We visited Christ Church Cathedral and really enjoyed its beauty. They have a small gift shop with a very knowledgeable person to answer any of your questions. Be sure and leave a donation, because they are having a fundraiser.
